About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with fuel brands, distributors, individual merchants to negotiate discounts and support sales initiatives
- Utilize and perform data analysis and reporting tools to track progress, identify key performance targets, and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across the Merchant team, demonstrating flexibility to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five or more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)
- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including the development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills
- Thorough knowledge of unit payment products
- Experience with Transportation, Fuel, or Corporate card products and services is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the organization and its products, services and operations
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
- Strong marketing, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
