About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Builds profitable new business by cultivating strong relationships and partnering strategically with a financial institution partner in the market.
- Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.
- Make sales presentations to contracted partners and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs.
- Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
- Manages the on-going account relationship with existing customers.
- Establishes and maintains internal relationships along with establishing good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
- Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
