About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
- Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
- Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
- Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
- Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
- Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards
- Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank’s technology transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant experience
- Hands‑on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations using REST APIs.
- Experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET MVC (4.x) applications and .NET Framework (4.x)–based web applications.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Hands‑on experience building, consuming, and testing RESTful APIs, using tools such as Postman.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, stored procedures, and triggers (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
- Experience using modern IDEs such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, object‑oriented programming, system design, and SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Experience with application testing, system testing, and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability.
- Practical experience with version control and CI/CD tools, including Git and Jenkins.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and basic networking concepts.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
