About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and coordinate operational activities for assigned Global Fund Custody functions and client relationships
- Lead and develop a team of account managers serving as primary client contacts, providing guidance, coaching, performance feedback, and accountability
- Serve as an escalation point for complex operational or client issues, providing direction and resolution support
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality service and effective operational support for internal and external clients
- Train and support team members on custody processes, job responsibilities, and new or evolving systems
- Act as a subject matter expert across multiple operational processes, providing guidance on both routine and non‑routine matters
- Participate in operational projects, system enhancements, and initiatives that impact Global Fund Custody teams and clients
- Monitor adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and service standards, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Contribute to the review and improvement of operational systems, controls, and procedures to support efficiency and risk management
- Lead high‑performing teams by setting clear expectations, establishing goals, measuring progress, and recognizing success
- Build accountability and engagement through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance management practices
- Support workforce planning and talent development to meet current and future operational needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically five or more years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulatory requirements
- Solid understanding of relevant products, programs, financial analysis, and supporting documentation
- Proven organizational, managerial, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Demonstrated supervisory and people management capabilities; prior leadership experience highly preferred
- Experience supporting or leading new employee training and onboarding initiatives
- Familiarity with SWP
- Experience working with ETFs and/or private equity funds
- Experience with custody functions and/or securities processing
- Strong knowledge of operational functions, systems, procedures, and the products and services supported by the assigned area(s)
- Well-developed customer relationship skills with a strong focus on service and partnership
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
