About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and engage in Operations transformation initiatives, including collaboration with other CAS teams/subject matter experts
- Expand use of data analytics by the Operations audit team
- Supervising audit staff in the completion of audit engagements, ensuring the highest quality work delivered timely
- Completing or assisting managers in planning audit engagements
- Assisting the managers in reporting and wrap-up phases of audits
- Monitoring progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule
- Providing on-the-job training for staff
- Collaborating across the three lines of defense regarding business processes, risks, and controls
- Continuous Monitoring for responsible areas
- Performing other duties as requested by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience
- Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
- Effective skills at managing stressful situations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Applicable professional certifications
