About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and engage in Operations transformation initiatives, including collaboration with other CAS teams/subject matter experts
  • Expand use of data analytics by the Operations audit team
  • Supervising audit staff in the completion of audit engagements, ensuring the highest quality work delivered timely
  • Completing or assisting managers in planning audit engagements
  • Assisting the managers in reporting and wrap-up phases of audits
  • Monitoring progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule
  • Providing on-the-job training for staff
  • Collaborating across the three lines of defense regarding business processes, risks, and controls
  • Continuous Monitoring for responsible areas
  • Performing other duties as requested by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience
  • Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
  • Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
  • Effective skills at managing stressful situations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Applicable professional certifications
