Read and interpret trust indentures with regard to reporting requirements.
Create technical report specifications from indenture language.
Set up payment calculations in a variety of in-house systems.
Receive, map and reconcile periodic collateral data.
As required, make tax elections, file for EIN’s, and track residual holder transfers.
As required, perform portfolio compliance tests on a selection of structured fixed income deals (trade testing).
Compile monthly, quarterly and annual payment and/or tax reports.
Coordinates with operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made.
Perform quality control review of reports, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
Frequent interaction with asset managers, investors, auditors and rating agencies.

Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience with VBA, SQL, and at least one modern scripting language such as Python
Demonstrated ability to build tools from scratch, not just maintain existing solutions
Proven experience debugging and resolving complex technical issues across VBA, SQL, and Python
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver solutions in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
Experience in financial services, asset management, or capital markets
Familiarity with CLOs, structured finance, or loan products
Experience supporting reporting, reconciliations, or middle‑office operations
Exposure to databases and reporting platforms commonly used in financial environments
Experience improving or replacing Excel‑based EUCs with more scalable solutions
