About the role

  • Support operations business lines by gathering and documenting requirements for automation solutions, acting as a liaison between business partners and development teams.
  • Drive measurable improvements in efficiency and compliance through automation initiatives.
  • Elicit and document business requirements for automation projects, ensuring alignment with compliance and operational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization, including upper management and business line partners.
  • Prepare templates, use cases, and process diagrams; organize and document handoffs between teams.
  • Champion change management and adoption of automation solutions
  • Manage multiple products simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to keep development teams engaged.
  • Partner with development teams to clarify requirements and manage delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Business analysis experience; familiarity with technology product lifecycle
  • Analytical mindset; inquisitive and curious approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
  • Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
  • Strong project management, organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
  • Experience in financial services or operations environments
