About the role
- Support operations business lines by gathering and documenting requirements for automation solutions, acting as a liaison between business partners and development teams.
- Drive measurable improvements in efficiency and compliance through automation initiatives.
- Elicit and document business requirements for automation projects, ensuring alignment with compliance and operational goals.
- Communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization, including upper management and business line partners.
- Prepare templates, use cases, and process diagrams; organize and document handoffs between teams.
- Champion change management and adoption of automation solutions
- Manage multiple products simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to keep development teams engaged.
- Partner with development teams to clarify requirements and manage delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Business analysis experience; familiarity with technology product lifecycle
- Analytical mindset; inquisitive and curious approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
- Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus
- Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
- Strong project management, organization and analytical skills
- Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
- Experience in financial services or operations environments
