About the role
- The Product Owner within USBAM Marketing leads the strategy and portfolio of marketing initiatives; partners with leadership, management, and technology to execute on the long-term vision and roadmap; drives backlog and user stories; coordinates test planning; interprets business data and KPIs; creates personas and story maps; communicates with technical and non-technical audiences; recognizes and mitigates risks; supports product metrics and success criteria; focuses on marketing strategy and positioning
Requirements
- Product Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 to 8 years of Product Owner experience
- Asset management industry experience
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics
- Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working, knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations
- Strong communication, Interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
- Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
- Skilled at Visio for creating process flows and swim lane diagrams
- Thorough understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills
- Standard industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO are preferred
