About the role
- Perform complex accounting activities and lead assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Prepare and review journal entries and oversee detailed account reconciliations.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports.
- Analyze financial trends, resolve complex accounting issues, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data throughout the month end close.
- Prepare or review components of financial statements.
- Contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes, reporting efficiencies, and internal controls.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex tasks, and provide insightful analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of experience in financial accounting activities
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Considerable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulations
- Considerable knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- CPA or CMA preferred
