About the role
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
- Design and maintain Ansible playbooks in GitLab
- Integrate Ansible playbooks into AWX environments
- Collaborate with development teams to support agile release cycles and cloud-native applications.
- Develop scripts and automation tools using Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Unix Shell.
- Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
- Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant experience
- Experience designing, maintaining, or contributing to Ansible playbooks managed in Git-based repositories (e.g., GitLab or similar).
- Familiarity with integrating and operating Ansible automation within AWX or comparable orchestration platforms.
- Exposure to DevOps practices supporting database and server environments in cloud or hybrid infrastructures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and platform teams to support agile development and release cycles, including cloud‑native applications.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of automation and scripting using one or more of the following: Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Unix shell scripting.
- Interest in building scalable, repeatable automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Exposure to database and server DevOps in cloud, hybrid, or on‑prem environments.
