About the role
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
- Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
- Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
- Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
- Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge/experience in AWS
- Proficient development skills in .NET, React.js, Python, and APIs (REST, Java Spring Boot, .NET)
- Solid experience in SQL database programming (DML and DDL) using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Familiarity with DevOps/deployment tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Rancher, and ServiceNow
- Experience using Agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira for backlog management, including Scrum and Kanban boards
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including vulnerability management and release fixes
- Knowledge/experience in AI technologies, including Co-pilot solutions and Agentic workflows
- Willingness to provide production support during core hours, evenings, and weekends, on a rotating on-call schedule
- Experience managing QRM or other large vendor packages in multiple AWS environments a Big plus
- Understanding of Apigee Edge Gateway
- Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architecture preferred
- Expertise in certificate management preferred
- Knowledge/experience in MS Access, Autosys, Java, MQ, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and Test Automation
