About the role

  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
  • Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
  • Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
  • Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
  • Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
  • Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
  • Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
  • Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge/experience in AWS
  • Proficient development skills in .NET, React.js, Python, and APIs (REST, Java Spring Boot, .NET)
  • Solid experience in SQL database programming (DML and DDL) using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
  • Familiarity with DevOps/deployment tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Rancher, and ServiceNow
  • Experience using Agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira for backlog management, including Scrum and Kanban boards
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including vulnerability management and release fixes
  • Knowledge/experience in AI technologies, including Co-pilot solutions and Agentic workflows
  • Willingness to provide production support during core hours, evenings, and weekends, on a rotating on-call schedule
  • Experience managing QRM or other large vendor packages in multiple AWS environments a Big plus
  • Understanding of Apigee Edge Gateway
  • Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architecture preferred
  • Expertise in certificate management preferred
  • Knowledge/experience in MS Access, Autosys, Java, MQ, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and Test Automation
