About the role
- Shape Direct Sales Strategy: Define the vision, strategic direction, and operational plans needed to exceed customer expectations and sales goals.
- Accelerate Revenue Growth: Responsible for driving annual sales revenue growth, including forecasting performance and tracking results.
- Enhance Sales Effectiveness: Identifies opportunities for efficiency and growth, and drives the development of collateral material, sales training, operational procedures, and systems requirements to ensure sales personnel are set up for success.
- Build a High-Performing Sales Organization: Manage a team of 50+ sales personnel and leaders.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with all U.S. Bancorp policies and procedures such as the Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, etc.
Requirements
- 10 years of banking experience
- 8 or more years of sales management/leadership experience
- MBA preferred
- Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills
- Proven experience in sales management and business development
- Knowledge of banking products
- Experience in team leadership, mentorship, and performance management
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and influence/partnership skills
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
