About the role
- Analyzes and maintains various types of compensation information
- Participates in compensation surveys, prepares job descriptions, conducts job analyses, evaluates jobs by pricing them in the market and examining comparable jobs within the company, and prepares and analyzes survey data
- May develop, recommend, write and monitor compliance with compensation processes and/or procedures
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of assigned Compensation projects/programs such as determining incentive accrual pools, merit budget pools, long term incentive pools, and developing new salary ranges
- Works with Compensation consultants on developing presentations of findings and may participate with the consultant in the delivery of results/recommendations to customers
- May develop communications plans and formal communications to managers and/or employees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to five years of relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of advanced math/statistics, financial analysis or related skills/knowledge
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Compensation or Human Resources experience
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
- MarketPay skills are desirable
