About the role
- Telecommute position but requires living in Rockford, IL or Milwaukee, WI and frequent local travel
- Develop profitable new business account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts
- Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services
- Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients about organization products and services
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales
- Required to work on site at least three days per week and travel almost daily in the area
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel; be prepared to travel almost daily in area
- Must live in Rockford, Illinois or Milwaukee, Wisconsin to qualify
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
- Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
