About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water resources infrastructure projects
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water conveyance and transmission systems
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, design reports, and supporting documentation
- Assist Project Managers with project coordination activities
- Provide proposal development, including scope descriptions, technical approaches, and fee support
- Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills when presenting technical information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in water-related engineering disciplines
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (ability to obtain CA license by comity in a reasonable timeframe)
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale hydraulic infrastructure projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering judgment skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with project teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations
- Experience with industry-standard engineering software and modeling tools used in water-related design
