About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water resources infrastructure projects
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Lead the planning, analysis, and design of major water conveyance and transmission systems
Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, design reports, and supporting documentation
Assist Project Managers with project coordination activities
Provide proposal development, including scope descriptions, technical approaches, and fee support
Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills when presenting technical information

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in water-related engineering disciplines
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (ability to obtain CA license by comity in a reasonable timeframe)
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale hydraulic infrastructure projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering judgment skills
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with project teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations
Experience with industry-standard engineering software and modeling tools used in water-related design
