  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (ability to obtain AZ license by comity in a reasonable timeframe). An active CA license is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale hydraulic infrastructure projects, such as major transmission mains, dam or reservoir design, regional conveyance systems, or large water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
  • Experience working with municipal, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering judgment skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with project teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations.
  • Experience with industry-standard engineering software and modeling tools used in water-related design, including hydraulic simulation platforms (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM, eInfoWorks, or equivalent), dam break and reservoir routing models, and GIS-based hydrologic analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support projects across different geographic locations.
  • Travel required as necessary to support project and client needs.
