About the role

  • Own product strategy: Define the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for AI-powered products aligned with Tymit's strategic goals.
  • Crack ambiguous problems: Turn fuzzy, complex ideas into clear product structures.
  • Lead customer discovery: Run structured customer conversations to validate value propositions.
  • Turn insights into testable hypotheses and converge on sharp ICPs and MVP definitions.
  • Evaluate opportunities: Quickly assess new ideas for user value, strategic fit, and effort vs. learning.
  • Compare opportunities and make clear calls on what to pursue now, later, or never.
  • Collaborate with AI Engineering: Work closely with AI engineers to design solutions that balance ambition with technical feasibility.
  • Understand AI/ML capabilities and constraints: hands-on exploration of model behaviour, prompts, and system limitations.
  • Drive execution: Manage the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
  • Define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely releases with high quality standards.
  • Communicate and align stakeholders: Share insights, decisions, and progress clearly across the organization.
  • Build alignment around product direction and secure buy-in from leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Management — with direct ownership of 0→1 product initiatives, including problem definition, MVP scoping, and early validation in ambiguous environments.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered products — understanding of LLMs, agents, RAG pipelines, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with AI evaluation and quality assurance — ability to define success metrics for AI features, design eval frameworks (automated + human), and translate eval results into product improvements.
  • Strong product judgment — ability to connect customer needs with business outcomes and make clear trade-offs on scope, ambition, and sequencing.
  • Experience with customer discovery and user research — skilled at extracting insights and translating them into product decisions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you thrive in early-stage environments where direction isn't always clear.
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to translate complex AI concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision making — experience defining KPIs, using data and user behavior to validate assumptions, and iterating products through learning loops.
  • You don’t need to have a background or experience as an ML engineer - but you are expected to be deeply curious and hands-on with AI systems, learning continuously through experimentation and collaboration with engineering.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience in fintech, payments, or credit products.
  • Founder/builder experience in early-stage start-ups.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI evaluation tools (LangFuse, LangSmith, or similar).
  • Technical background or ability to prototype with AI tools and no-code platforms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional AI/ML teams.
Benefits
  • 26 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Your birthday off.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Budget for home office set up.
  • Monthly home working allowance.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Referral program.
  • EUR 1,000 annual learning and development budget.
