About the role

  • Manage roadway and bridge engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule development
  • Oversee preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and highway projects
  • Conduct technical analyses and quality reviews consistent with TYLin’s quality assurance standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff
  • Participate in project performance reviews, forecasting, and risk assessments
  • Lead and support regional business development initiatives to expand TYLin’s market presence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities and partnerships
  • Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to strategic pursuits across TYLin’s bridge and transportation teams

Requirements

  • P.E. License required; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in highway and/or bridge design and project management, with significant local project experience
  • Proven success delivering complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of AASHTO design standards
  • Established relationships with regional engineering clients and public agencies
  • Strong technical judgment, stellar communication, and a collaborative mindset
