About the role
- support the design and implementation of innovative Stormwater and climate resiliency infrastructure projects
- manage the planning, design, and construction of these projects
- review of plans with permit applications submitted by engineers to the City of Richmond
- planning and engineering design for complex assignments
- preparation of design and construction documents for wastewater and water facilities
- review of engineering designs, bid packages, RFPs, and Statements of Work
- active leadership in assignments as a member of a team
Requirements
- minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- minimum 5+ years’ experience in stormwater design/engineering
- demonstrated experience developing designs and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure, or working towards licensure, preferred.
- VA DEQ Plan Reviewer certification required or the ability to obtain one within three months
