About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a wide variety of site inspection activities for TWI's Industrial Members
- Deliver NDT inspection work in demanding environments
- Undertake NDE technique development and qualification activities
- Perform on-site inspection services
- Support the expansion of TWI's Advanced NDE site inspection capability
- Travel frequently within the UK and abroad to deliver inspection work
- Collaborate with TWI's expert engineering, materials, and joining-technology teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of five years' industrial experience
- Minimum of two ISO 9712 Level 2 certifications
- PAUT and ET certifications strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and their practical application
- Working knowledge of inspection acceptance criteria and their application within industry
- Relevant NDT certifications
- UK security clearance required, or ability to undertake and gain it
- Desirable: PAUT, ISO 9712 Level 2 ToFD, ISO 9712 Level 2 EC Welds and/or Wrought Products, ISO 9712 Level 2 UT 3.1 / 3.2, ISO 9712 Level 2 ACFM, ISO 9712 Level 1 or Level 2
