Report directly to the founder, pick your own stack, and ship weekly.
Build AI Agents & LLM Workflows: chatbots and AI assistants for tutor recruiting screening, parent FAQs, and internal knowledge Q&A.
Create LLM pipelines that extract data from school district documents, IEPs, and contracts.
Automate generation of district-ready impact reports, proposals, and outreach emails.
Develop RAG systems over internal docs so the team can query company knowledge.
Connect CRM, scheduling platform, Google Workspace, email, and comms tools.
Automate tutor onboarding, document collection, and compliance tracking.
Sync data between systems — kill the copy-paste work.
Implement alerting and monitoring workflows (Slack/email triggers from key events).
Engage in lightweight internal tooling: Google Apps Script, Airtable automations, simple internal dashboards.

Requirements

3+ years building automations, integrations, or AI-powered tools
Hands-on experience with OpenAI and/or Anthropic APIs — prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, basic RAG
Strong with Python or Node.js/TypeScript
Fluent with automation platforms: n8n, Make, or Zapier (at least one at expert level)
Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and connecting SaaS tools
Excellent written English; able to scope projects independently from a one-paragraph brief
Reliable internet + backup power/connection
Nice-to-Haves
Vector databases (Pinecone, Supabase pgvector, Weaviate)
Google Apps Script, Airtable scripting
Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) — but only if you can explain when NOT to use them
Prior work with US companies or EdTech/education
