About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the entire data pipeline from instrumentation to presentation
Work directly with departments and senior leadership to decide what to gather and how to analyze it
Identify KPIs around engagement, retention, and churn, and design pipelines to collect them
Own the databases: schema, performance, health
Be hands-on with the ETL pipelines and the infrastructure supporting it
Automate reporting and create dashboards for a variety of audiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in a data analyst or analytics engineering role
Strong SQL skills: querying, structuring schemas, tuning performance
Strong skills in the languages of your choice for backend and analysis: Python, R, Java, etc
Real world experience building and owning ETL processes
Statistical modeling depth: regression analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive models, confidence and error
Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
Self-starter energy — you can juggle priorities, work across teams, and figure things out without a lot of hand-holding
