About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work in an integrated planning, cost, and risk environment to optimize resources and complete work scopes within budget and time constraints
  • Follow established planning and scheduling methodology when developing project schedules
  • Develop project milestone and progress-tracking baselines
  • Assess subcontractor compliance with scheduling methodology
  • Contribute to the Work Breakdown Structure for project performance measurement
  • Analyze schedule data, identify trends and issues, and communicate findings to the Project Director and team
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external project clients on schedules
  • Coach and mentor the planning team
  • Lead schedule reporting, forecast updates, and contingency management for specific work packages
  • Lead timely schedule updates, analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure contractor schedules comply with integrated schedules and milestones
  • Analyze resource requirements and availability impacts and recommend recovery options
  • Adhere to applicable SOX control responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field
  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a scheduling role in the construction industry
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques
  • Experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to assist with wider business initiatives, including responding to RFPs
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills
