About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and report on product and construction cost performance across a portfolio of large-scale projects
Synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights
Develop clear, concise presentations and narratives to communicate cost performance to stakeholders
Build and maintain dashboards, databases, and data models to support program-wide reporting and forecasting
Establish and improve data governance, reporting standards, and consistent processes across project teams
Partner with technical, project, and regional teams to gather data and ensure alignment on reporting requirements
Present dashboards, analyses, and key findings to internal and client stakeholders in an accessible format
Support training and adoption of reporting tools and processes across project teams
Continuously enhance reporting capabilities, focusing on usability, visualization, and decision support
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience in construction cost analysis, data analytics, or related field within the construction or infrastructure industry.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related discipline.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with experience performing deep-dive analysis.
Proficiency in data tools and platforms such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar (working knowledge of SQL preferred).
Understanding of construction cost drivers, trades, and project delivery environments.
Experience developing dashboards, data models, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
Advanced skills in spreadsheets, reporting, and presentation development.
Ability to manage and organize multiple data sources across projects and stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
