About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the client on procurement strategies
- Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cost plans
- Assist in reviewing contractor and vendor proposals
- Support value engineering exercises and risk assessments
- Assist with cost reporting by preparing and updating cost reports
- Maintain project budgets and risk registers
- Participate in periodic cost review meetings
- Support cost control processes and track change orders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management within construction
- Experience supporting fast-paced construction programs
- Good understanding of construction methods, procurement strategies, and commercial management principles
- RICS accredited or working toward accreditation preferred
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
