About the role

  • Overseeing the team that is responsible for the comprehensive technical and legal vetting of all potential real estate assets
  • Execute rigorous physical due diligence, including the evaluation of structural integrity, MEP system capacities, and site-specific utility infrastructure
  • Synthesize complex technical data into concise "Go/No-Go" feasibility reports
  • Navigate complex municipal zoning ordinances, land-use restrictions, and local building codes
  • Collaborate with Real Estate and Transaction Management to define the Landlord’s Work and Tenant’s Work within the Lease Work Letter
  • Manage a national or regional network of third-party consultants
  • Audit consultant deliverables to ensure all reports meet the company's internal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction, due diligence, land acquisition, and/or land development with a commercial firm
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Bluebeam , and construction project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills.
