About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical assistance and capacity building to clients, partners, and project teams.
- Develop practical guidance, training materials, and analytic playbooks.
- Coach and mentor staff and client stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams in querying claims and enrollment data.
- Design and support quality assurance processes.
- Facilitate collaborative working sessions and trainings.
- Apply deep knowledge of CMS programs and data content.
- Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts clearly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Ten years of relevant experience, or PhD + Eight years of relevant experience.
- Experience with CMS systems and data environments: IDR, VRDC
- Experience designing or supporting data architecture in healthcare, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, or claims-based environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data structures.
- Experience with data modeling, data mapping, ETL/ELT concepts, metadata management, and data governance.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience working with secure data environments and sensitive healthcare data.
- Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and security considerations related to CMS or regulated healthcare data.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, or statistical programming languages such as Python, R, SAS.
