Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to clients, partners, and project teams.
  • Develop practical guidance, training materials, and analytic playbooks.
  • Coach and mentor staff and client stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in querying claims and enrollment data.
  • Design and support quality assurance processes.
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions and trainings.
  • Apply deep knowledge of CMS programs and data content.
  • Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts clearly.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree + Twelve years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Ten years of relevant experience, or PhD + Eight years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with CMS systems and data environments: IDR, VRDC
  • Experience designing or supporting data architecture in healthcare, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, or claims-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data structures.
  • Experience with data modeling, data mapping, ETL/ELT concepts, metadata management, and data governance.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience working with secure data environments and sensitive healthcare data.
  • Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and security considerations related to CMS or regulated healthcare data.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, or statistical programming languages such as Python, R, SAS.
