Key responsibilities & impact

Analyzes and interprets data to support organizational and client needs
Assists in creating reports, developing data collection and processing workflows, and transforming data into meaningful insights
Contributes to routine technical tasks under close supervision and supports data-driven decision-making across projects
Apply foundational knowledge of data analytics and data management techniques to support analysis of structured and unstructured datasets
Assist in the full data lifecycle, including data intake, cleaning, validation, transformation, and basic analysis
Develop and maintain code for data processing and analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies
Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights clearly and effectively
Collaborate with team members to follow established QA/QC protocols and data governance standards
Participate in cross-functional teams to support data preparation, analytical file creation, and reporting efforts
Assist in maintaining data integrity, security, and availability in compliance with federal and organizational standards
Contribute to documentation of processes, methodologies, and code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, informatics, public health, social science, or a related field
0+ years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or research experience applicable)
Basic proficiency in one or more data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar)
Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work on routine tasks with guidance
Effective communication and collaboration skills
