About the role
- Collect images of streets, points of interest and public areas using vehicle-mounted 360° cameras.
- Mount and install 360 removable cameras on top of the vehicle and ensure proper operation (cameras ~6 kg, ~1 m height).
- Drive assigned routes targeting commercial districts and historical sites and follow specific routes provided by the project.
- Store and manage captured images on in-vehicle computers and ensure data quality for map enhancement.
- Revisit areas as needed due to weather to obtain best imaging quality.
- Report progress and issues using Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet and WhatsApp.
- Work schedule typically Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (40 hours/week); weekend work possible due to weather downtime.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver Licence;
- Good driving skills and clean driving record;
- Good physical condition;
- Must be able to install the cameras on the roof of a vehicle (6 kg in weight and 1 metre in height);
- Private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle would be a plus;
- General car knowledge would be a plus;
- Enjoys driving, within standard business hours;
- Available for a minimum of 3 months;
- Great communication and reporting skills;
- Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet and WhatsApp);
- High level of responsibility;
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
