About the role
- Collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas using cars with 360 cameras mounted on top
- Drive assigned specific routes around public streets, commercial districts and historical sites
- Operate imaging equipment and store images on onboard computers for later use in map enhancement
- Revisit areas as needed due to poor weather conditions to ensure best image quality
- Work Monday-Friday, ~8 hours/day (40 hours/week); weekends possible due to weather downtime
- Communicate and report findings, maintain accurate records and follow project procedures
- Maintain and secure corporate vehicle, ensure private monitored parking space is available
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver Licence;
- Driving experience, 1-2 yrs minimum
- Good driving skills and clean driving record
- General car knowledge would be a plus
- Enjoys driving, within standard business hours; flexible schedule possible
- Available for a minimum of 3 months
- Must have private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle / Must have parking for a vehicle
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check (criminal and driving record) / Must pass the background check
- Great communication and reporting skills
- Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet); smartphone and basic apps
- Basic computer skills
- High level of responsibility
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
