About the role
- Drive company vehicles equipped with 360° cameras to collect imagery of streets, points of interest and public areas;
- Follow assigned routes targeting commercial districts and historical sites;
- Capture and store images and video on onboard computers;
- Revisit areas as needed due to weather to ensure image quality;
- Work Monday–Friday ~8 hours/day (40 hours/week) with possible weekend work due to weather downtime;
- Communicate and report progress using Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet;
- Maintain vehicle and ensure availability of monitored parking for corporate vehicle;
- Ensure data quality and deliver imagery for mapping projects
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver Licence;
- Good driving skills and clean driving record;
- General car knowledge would be a plus;
- Enjoys driving within standard business hours;
- Available for a minimum of 3 months;
- Must have private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle;
- Great communication and reporting skills;
- Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet);
- High level of responsibility;
- Self-motivated and detail oriented;
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check (criminal and driving record);
- Knowledge of local area and traffic trends
