About the role
- Drive vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidars to collect high-quality visuals of streets, public spaces, and points of interest.
- Follow pre-assigned routes and capture comprehensive images and lidar scans.
- Store captured data on onboard computers (SSD drives) and ensure secure handling of data.
- Revisit areas when necessary to ensure optimal image quality (weather-dependent).
- Work full time within standard business hours (8 AM - 7 PM) for assignments lasting ~3–6 months.
- Attend comprehensive training and onboarding; coordinate with managers and the international team for project requirements.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and maintain equipment reliability; report issues and maintain professional conduct.
Requirements
- Holds a valid EU-issued driver’s license.
- Maintains a clean background check (criminal and driving record).
- Has at least 5 years of driving experience.
- Possesses professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics).
- Proficient in English and the local language.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using GSuite tools (Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
- Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
- Enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
- Familiar with the area of operations.
- Willing to pass a safety driving test as part of recruitment.
