About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support mortgage production channels by owning and transforming loan production, pricing, and vendor subscription data into actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain data repositories, dashboards, reports, presentations, and business metrics
  • Enable regular business reviews and informed decision-making across mortgage production channels
  • Provide guidance on mortgage loan production trends, pricing dynamics, and third-party data sources
  • Deliver descriptive and predictive analytics, competitive and market share intelligence, pricing and optimization analytics, and ad hoc deep-dive analyses
  • Partner with Line of Business, Risk Management, Financial Management, Loan Fulfillment, and Servicing teams on initiatives and special projects
  • Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategy and drive strategic outcomes
  • Lead analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, performance measurement, and interpretation of results
  • Lead analysis efforts to define and design solutions to complex business problems
  • Analyze, design, and maintain data sources in information systems
  • Measure client interaction to improve client experience, digital adoption, and marketing segmentation
  • Recommend actions to business leaders using subject-matter expertise and analytics
  • Act as team leader for projects with moderate budgets or short-to-intermediate duration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or an Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • Five to ten years of experience in analysis and design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to generate actionable insights and recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics preferred
  • Experience in mortgage and/or consumer lending preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, preferred
