About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the overall performance of the defined market, including client service quality, balance sheet quality, profitability, growth, and risk management
  • Drive a consistent client experience positioning Truist as the Premier Advisory Bank in the Commercial segment
  • Integrate banking functions in the local market, including line of business partners, Commercial Credit, and Integrated Relationship Management partners
  • Develop and execute focused marketing plans
  • Grow new relationships and expand existing client relationships
  • Meet loan, deposit, and fee-based revenue expectations
  • Deliver differentiated client experiences using Financial Insights and strategic advisory tools
  • Develop new business client relationships and improve market share of business loans and non-credit services
  • Execute Integrated Relationship Management through sales meetings, call planning, joint calling, and custom solutions
  • Manage assigned commercial loan portfolios, including credit proposals, documentation, compliance, loan closings, portfolio weaknesses, and delinquent credit relationships
  • Ensure data integrity, risk management, and adherence to bank policies and objectives
  • Select, coordinate, and lead the community advisory board and activities
  • Participate in civic, government, professional, business, and community affairs to solicit new business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Twelve years of banking experience
  • Fluent English required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit, including underwriting, loan structuring, and pricing
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Master's degree preferred
