About the role

  • Provides oversight for projects and/or segments of Enterprise Data Management and Governance programs
  • Partners with business leaders in establishing data metrics development and adherence processes and restrictions
  • Monitors progress of the team relative to established objectives and priorities
  • Works closely with senior leaders within Enterprise Technology and in the assigned line of business
  • Ensure team development, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of data management and governance adherence metrics (KPIs and KRIs)
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Data Risk Office to ensure alignment between data sub-issue and issue management to ensure proper tagging of data issues
  • Manage development and execution of processes to inform Enterprise Data Risk Office and business units of the aggregate data issue and sub-issue risk exposure
  • Provide recommendation to Data Quality Rule enhancements to drive coverage and improve KPI and KRI results
  • Experience with review and validation of SQL queries and Python coding
  • Has full management responsibilities for teammates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience managing complex IT projects
  • Demonstrated experience in project management/delivery teams
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services
  • Knowledge of technology structures that incorporate variable staffing evolving platforms, cost and value arbitrage value propositions
  • Broad view of how industry and technology changes impact technology and client experience through digital channels
  • Strong business acumen and domain expertise in the assigned portfolio
  • Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure
  • Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities
  • Ability to influence and negotiate to enable agreement on scope, cost, and schedules
  • Ability to manage a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation
  • Functional and technical knowledge of Data, Analytics and Client data capabilities
