About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identifies business unit data critical business processes and critical data elements
- Ensures data controls are implemented and maintained
- Participates in domain working groups and best practices forums
- Collaborates with Data Domain Working Group for approving new CDEs
- Defines Data Quality rules and standards
- Monitors Data Quality activities
- Reviews and updates central metadata repository with business metadata content
- Defines Data Privacy rules in collaboration with the Chief Privacy Officer
- Mentors less experienced teammates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with data stewardship/management.
- Previous experience in leading IT projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
- Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of related experience or equivalent education and related training or experience (Preferred).
- Banking or financial services experience (Preferred).
