About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and develop Merchant Services sales opportunities in assigned market
  • Deliver consultative sales approach helping business clients assess their payment processing needs
  • Work with assigned team to generate opportunities in support of profitability and growth initiatives
  • Execute sales plan and develop strong partnerships to drive client and prospect sales opportunities
  • Foster relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic client planning
  • Focus on new business development selling payment processing solutions
  • Consult with clients to identify payment processing needs and deliver solutions
  • Develop detailed relationship plans for clients/prospects to identify key retention and acquisition opportunities
  • Provide client working capital services and solutions specifically focused on receivables
  • Adhere to applicable policies and procedures, escalate issues to leadership
  • Communicate effectively with clients through various methods (in-person, email, etc.)
  • Report sales efforts and revenue progression accurately

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience in financial or payments products and/or services
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently
  • Proven experience working across departments, lines of business within large financial organizations
  • Growth mindset to adapt and resolve escalating complex issues
  • Mentor teammates to help them grow and fulfill their roles and responsibilities
  • Must be able to travel
