About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead ABL Credit Delivery team responsible for structuring, underwriting and managing ABL transactions and loans to Commercial and Corporate banking clients
  • Lead teams that structure, underwrite, negotiate and close ABL transactions
  • Lead teams of asset managers to manage/mitigate credit risk of ABL portfolio transactions
  • Mentor and coach team leaders
  • Drive the restructuring of problem loans and workouts and closely monitor complex transactions
  • Manage ABL credit, operational and market risk within pre-approved risk tolerance levels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree
  • Licenses: Series 79 or 63
  • 15+ years of related work experience
  • Extensive subject matter expertise including advanced understanding of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring and risk mitigation strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across functional areas to resolve complex issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust, creativity/innovation and accountability
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully
  • Evidence of ability to develop and retain top talent
