Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development and delivery of scalable, product-based data solutions across Deposits and Lending
Manage advanced analytics projects with significant scope and judgment
Lead a team of Data and Analytics professionals
Responsible for talent acquisition and coaching of data science professionals
Foster communication and partnership across all levels of the organization
Pursue business outcomes through increased revenue and efficiency
Provide strategic direction in data collection and advanced analytic concepts
Drive overall team standards to create an inclusive environment
Represent the team in various forums and cultivate relationships with Senior Leaders
Exercise sound judgment and foster a client centric culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
15 or more years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering
10 or more years of progressive data science or analytics management experience
Ability to manage in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
Demonstrated ability to engage and manage diverse internal business partners
Innovative and strategic thinker
Experience in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
Ability to maintain a high level of competency in statistical and analytical principles, tools and techniques
Understanding of various database environments (IBM DB2, Oracle)
Technical programming skills (SAS, SQL, Toad)
Exposure to applied data science tools (R, Python, SAS E-Miner)
Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
