About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- lead the end-to-end execution of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives
- operate as the execution backbone for platform initiatives—driving alignment across engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders
- manage technical delivery plans and capability roadmaps
- surface risks early and resolve cross-team blockers
- ensure accountability from idea through implementation
- manage timelines and milestones with understanding of the technical context behind them
- connect technical dependencies, manage ambiguity, and drive clear communications
- ensure compliance with Truist Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC), Program Management Lifecycle (PMLC)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware
- 7+ years of experience in technical program or delivery management within enterprise IT, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure organizations
- Strong understanding of platform technologies such as: Cloud infrastructure: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD
- IaC & automation: Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow workflows
- Container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Security & observability: Vault, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Splunk
- Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple concurrent efforts with complex interdependencies
- Exceptional skills in written communication, stakeholder influence, and risk management
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Rally, Confluence, for tracking and reporting
- Exposure to internal developer portals and platform product management
- Background in software engineering, platform operations, or systems architecture
- Experience working with compliance-heavy environments (NIST, SOX, FFIEC, ISO)
