About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design advanced technical and cybersecurity capabilities across the software development lifecycle
- Plan, build, and enhance cybersecurity technologies
- Deploy security controls for Truist
- Assist in designing, planning, deploying, testing, and implementing Cloud Security Controls
- Automate operational workflows using Python
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Manage AWS services and ensure secure cloud environments
- Build, deploy, and automate containerized applications
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement and support cloud security tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, cloud, and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles
- Developing knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts
- Experience in software development lifecycle security practices
- Proficiency in implementing and managing information security technologies
