About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently evaluate the quality and execution of internal audit engagements
  • Directly manage a team of audit professionals
  • Serve as Engagement Manager for large, complex projects
  • Develop meaningful and well-supported audit reports
  • Advise on complex assignments and possess strong subject matter expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, or equivalent education and related training or experience
  • Eight to ten years of experience in audit
  • Advanced knowledge in audit and a broad understanding of banking and financial services
  • Substantial leadership experience and demonstrated decision making skills
  • Excellent understanding of risk management and process concepts
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate root causes of problems
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Appropriate professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA)
