Key responsibilities & impact

Independently evaluate the quality and execution of internal audit engagements
Directly manage a team of audit professionals
Serve as Engagement Manager for large, complex projects
Develop meaningful and well-supported audit reports
Advise on complex assignments and possess strong subject matter expertise
Provide leadership in coaching and development of staff
Manage timely and quality delivery of multiple tasks
Continue developing knowledge of auditing and data analysis techniques

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, or equivalent education and related training or experience
Eight to ten years of experience in audit
Advanced knowledge in audit and a broad understanding of banking and financial services
Substantial leadership experience and demonstrated decision making skills
Excellent understanding of risk management and process concepts
Excellent analytical, facilitation, interpersonal and decision-making skills
Excellent written, verbal and negotiating skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate root causes of problems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Appropriate professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA)
