About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a trusted advisor to Truist’s executive leadership
Manage and enhance the company’s annual strategic planning process
Lead internal consulting engagements that shape strategic decisions
Develop content for Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors
Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management challenges
Advocate for funding of projects and develop policies and plans
Provide leadership to managers and/or professional-level contributors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in corporate and/or business strategic planning and development
Demonstrated proficiency developing business strategies to achieve operational and financial results
Experience designing, managing, and continually improving complex corporate processes that involve multiple constituencies
Demonstrated ability to independently resolve conflicts or problems
Extensive knowledge of business and organizational strategies and management objectives
Ability to lead large highly complex projects of notable risk exposure
Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape
Experience leading and motivating teams of professional-level contributors
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
