Portfolio Manager – Wholesale Credit Delivery, Middle Market
TruistPortfolio Manager responsible for credit analysis and risk management in Wholesale Banking. Overseeing commercial underwriting process and portfolio management for middle market clients.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Underwrites credit exposure for Wholesale Banking clients
- actively manages a Middle Market or CML portfolio
- day-to-day client interaction
- managing portfolio risk
- adheres to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
- early identification of emerging credit problems and industry trends
- leads the entire commercial underwriting process
- underwrites and documents all prospect and client transactions
- provides independent analysis of financial statements and business plans
- responsible for risk rating integrity and annual reviews
- manages all amendment and waivers in the assigned portfolio
- applies knowledge of credit policy and pricing to develop solutions
- manages data integrity of all inputs and outputs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- at least 5+ years of related training and experience in commercial credit analysis
- Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- solid written/verbal communication
- Sound credit skills
- strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task
