About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of condo review analysts to review condo project documents for compliance within investor guidelines and Truist Risk policy
  • Review appropriate documentation in a timely fashion
  • Work with Sales Partners to ensure closing on time and within guidelines
  • Recruit, train, develop and mentor a high-performing team to ensure meeting team goals
  • Provide coaching and guidance to teammates to resolve client service related problems
  • Effectively manage all human resource related items to ensure execution of the organization’s Purpose, Mission and Values
  • Maintain Condo procedures to meet internal and external service, quality and regulatory requirements
  • Provide input to ensure compliance, performance and regulatory requirements are met with Condo policies
  • Evaluate opportunities for efficiency gains while supporting channel and business partners in service and quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five or more years of mortgage or consumer lending management and residential collateral or underwriting experience
  • Seven or more years of knowledge or experience in residential mortgage lending, compliance, regulations and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or related work experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory changes, external and internal compliance requirements and investor guidelines to ensure loan salability
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to quickly resolve customer escalations.
