Key responsibilities & impact

Managing demand management and supply management activities for categories of spend
Optimizing total cost of ownership and managing supplier risk
Building relationships with key business and executive partners
Leading cross-functional teams in category specification and sourcing
Compiling and analyzing market data for negotiations
Executing the full sourcing process including supplier selection and contract execution
Engaging risk stakeholders as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s degree
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in sourcing
Knowledge of the market, suppliers, and cost drivers
Demonstrated experience with managing matrixed supplier relationships
Ability to learn content quickly and apply a strategic lens to category spend
Ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders
Track record of success in supplier consolidation and driving spend to preferred suppliers
Subject Matter Expertise in strategic sourcing methodology
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships
Proficient analytical and project management skills
Proficient communication skills
