About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct timely, comprehensive investigations of customers
  • Analyze customer transaction activity
  • Communicate results of analysis to FIU leadership
  • Support development and maintenance of internal process manuals
  • Conduct SARlink analysis, data mining and analytics
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations
  • Provide leadership and training to FIU Investigators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Eight years of banking, financial industry or related experience; preferably in a branch, audit, compliance or commercial lending-related capacity
  • Strong knowledge and experience with BSA regulations and related compliance requirements
  • Thorough working knowledge of risk indicator trends in financial crime
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong investigative research and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
