About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Providing leadership in high-risk, complex audit engagements
Planning, scoping and developing test plans including data analytics
Allocate resources based on skills and schedules
Setting clear quality expectations and evaluating effectiveness
Developing audit reports aligning with risk appetite framework
Identifying substantive and material issues
Coaching and providing guidance to junior team members
Managing multiple tasks including audits and advisory services
Working independently, exercising judgment in risk assessment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field
Six to eight years of banking, auditing or relevant experience
Strong knowledge in audit and banking financial services
Strong understanding of risk management
Strong analytical and facilitation skills
Ability to communicate complex information
Demonstrated ability to identify root causes of problems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software products
Strong project management and advisory skills
Advanced degree or professional certification preferred
