Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team or teams responsible for technology solutions that meet business needs
Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, risk management, and organizational challenges
Direct engineering and deployment of significant delivery projects
Lead delivery of mission-critical payments capabilities (Zelle / faster payments)
Lead complex initiatives with automation-first, AI/DUO-enabled end-to-end delivery
Act as an Agile champion
Set engineering standards, controls, and quality bars
Develop departmental plans
Maintain appropriate Risk Profile through owning the first line of Risk defense
Has full management responsibilities for teammates (hiring, coaching, performance reviews)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
8 years of experience in IT software engineering
5 years’ relevant business experience
5 years’ experience in project management
2 years of management experience
Broad and in-depth knowledge of technology trends
Ability to translate enterprise level strategic planning information into software
Executive level communications skills (strong negotiation/facilitation/presentation skills)
Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure
Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges
Ability to lead and manage the performance of multiple teams against a set of financial and operational objectives
