About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support data integration and reporting initiatives across ERP and finance and risk data platforms
  • Focus on supporting data analysis, validation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Gather and analyze project/downstream data mart consumers requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Lines of Business (LOB) teams on data mapping
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for technology teams
  • Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks
  • Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc.
  • Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders
  • Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes
  • Assist with development of departmental documentation
  • Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements
  • Lead moderate projects with heightened risks, complexity, and resource requirements
  • Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline
  • Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies
  • Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities
  • Ability to lead moderately complex projects
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
